Roanoke-Chowan Foundation

The Roanoke-Chowan Foundation provides leadership to support community-based programs that encourage long-term positive improvement in the health and well being of people living in the Roanoke-Chowan area. Since October 1, 1997, the Roanoke-Chowan Foundation has served as a private Foundation primarily interested in community programs to bring better health to the communities that RCH serves. The Roanoke-Chowan Foundation became an affiliate of the University Health Systems Foundation in July 2007. 

Through a partnership with the University Health Systems Foundation and the Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust, the Foundation has a strong history of giving back to the community. These funds will help programs in their efforts to improve nutrition and physical activity, diabetes prevention and management and access to care.
