The Eastern Carolina Injury Prevention Program, known as ECIPP, strives to improve the health of local residents by reducing the occurrence and effect of injuries through community projects. The program is a joint effort between the University Health Systems of Eastern Carolina Trauma Center and the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University Department of Emergency Medicine.
Our vision for the program is that eastern North Carolina residents will be safe from injury and violence on roadways, at work and school, at home and play.
