The Chowan Hospital Rehabilitation Department provides an array of
rehabilitation services in settings ranging from acute care to skilled
unit and outpatient services. Our qualified staff includes licensed
physical, speech and occupational therapists.
Rehabilitation services treat and manage the following conditions
• bone and joint injuries and disease
• amputations
• stroke and other neurological disorders
• problems affecting range of motion and walking
• wounds
• speech, language, hearing and swallowing problems
Facilities
The Rehabilitation Department is located in a 3,500 square foot area
with four private treatment rooms, a kitchen and an open gym area.
