Teamwork
brings people together. It encourages them to share hope and hard
work to achieve a common goal. At the Regional Rehabilitation Center
at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, our goal is to help people whose
lives have been altered by serious injury or disease. Teamwork makes
that happen. It focuses the dedication, skill and compassion of
families, physicians and staff to help patients achieve personal
goals, rediscover their independence and reshape their futures.
This
center has been helping patients reclaim their lives since 1977. That
is our mission and the reason for our existence. Every member of our
staff is devoted to helping patients return to their families and
their lives as quickly and completely as possible.
Our
goal is to improve quality of life for people in eastern North
Carolina, to treat the whole person and to provide services that
prevent or lessen impairments and promote abilities. With that
mission in mind, we have established a 75-bed inpatient facility and
have developed a full complement of integrated inpatient and
outpatient programs. Our dedicated and experienced staff brings a
wide array of skills to serve patients who are treated in our
programs.
