Women's Services at University Health Systems cover a wide
variety of women's health care needs. From inpatient care to outpatient
programs, we focus on helping women maintain good health throughout their
lifetime.
We realize that your health changes as you age; that's why we
provide care and information to you throughout all phases of your life. We
offer health screenings in the community, outpatient services, pregnancy
care, routine mammograms and gynecologic surgery.
Our hospitals provide patient care services and expert care for
pregnant women. We also understand the importance of your family and encourage
them to participate in your care. Families are always welcome in our birthing
units, and we do everything we can to make them comfortable.
Our Children's Hospital at Pitt County Memorial
Hospital has the only Level III neonatal intensive care unit in eastern North
Carolina for any newborns that need extra care.
